Vegas proposed trade for Guadette and when this counter offer came from KB, decided it was fair as Byron is 31 while Guadette is 24 and plays 3rd Line and 2PP, and fits in Vegas rebuild plan.

EDM confirms. We are re-shaping our line up for now and down the road. I like Gaudette a lot and he will have a chance to pop again this year in the real VANcity after their off season moves. However this trade gives us more flexibility for downstream moves that came with the cash in the deal. Thanks Dazfoster!

Writers in the NHL circle are talking of an all Canadian division. Are you in favor of this? Personally I am not, I think it would be like a second league. Plus I believe this will create another trophy.......the Canada Cup (winner of the Canadian Division). I guess I get it as the last Stanley Cup win for Canada was in 1993 by the Canadiens.

If it's to play the 2020/21 NHL season, then I'm all for it since the logistics and timing of border crossing and border reopening are murky at best these days. I'm thinking the remaining 3 divisions would be carved out of the US East-South, Central, West.
