Spirit this trade is not up to us but for the trade committee to decide on according to page 9 of the league constitution.
Cosart is according to mlb.com the 31st out of the top 50 prospects and now the #1 of the astros (though we may disagree with this). Scouting report: When healthy, the 2008 Draft pick has electric stuff, with one of the better fastballs in the Minors and a very good curve. He's lean and projectable and he's got good command of his stuff, though his changeup, as with many young pitchers, is behind the other offerings. The bigger issue has been staying injury-free. In 2009, it was his back and shoulder. Last year, his season ended at the end of June with a bad elbow. Phillippe Aumont is also the #10 prospect in the Phillies organization. I can see both side to this trade but that is for the trade committee to decide on. 1106

Yes, I acknowledged that in the previous post. Thank you. I was trying to make everyone aware and hopeful the Mets would post their response so Kenny or Shelby can move it to the Trade Committee. 1107

Why did you guys make the trade?
"Each GM involved needs to post a reply confirming the trade they agreed to is what’s stated in the thread. They also need to state the reasoning behind the trade for your organization; if you were the GM and on your local sports talk show giving an interview, what would you say? This will help the trade committee understand why the trade should be approved, especially for those who are unfamiliar with the players involved" This is according to the Posting Format. Phillies I see you put in that you are looking at filling in Howard's spot but nothing from the Mets. We are asked to do this to make sure the trades are fair and give some reasoning as to why the trade committee should approve of the trade. 1108
