It's not violating any rules.  It's just the first time I've had a request to do it this way.  Those cap hits in that forum post are trade exchanges that I'm accustomed to entering manually. 

Let me think on it and check with @snugerud to see if maybe there's a way to do this on Fantrax.

There probably isnt an easy automated way to do it.  the cap hit system on fantrax is pretty set in stone.  You would need to make notations somewhere to whatever you need to change each season. 

I would think your best solution is lump in what you can for this season and spread out the remaining on the years following.  Then next season if you want to lump them in again do then.  A lot changes in a season. 

Re-process these paying all this year.

not sure what I need to do here but yes, paying all this year.  I had already dropped these guys through the season but wanted to pay out the whole thing with my available cap space. 

Madison Bowey $1,320,000 x 3 = 3,960,000

Jimmy Vessey - $1,320,000 x 2 = 2640000

Alec Martinez - $2,640,000 x2 = 5,280,000
