Dynasty NHL: Completed Transactions / Re: Hawks/Canucks Trade« on: December 15, 2016, 04:15:32 PM »Receives Canucks Confirm. Giving up a lot of young pieces for an old D and an underperforming D. But, Pokka and Virtanen aren't going to help me win this year and Lehkonen is stuck behind 4 other LW's on my roster. Hopefully Seabrook stays healthy and continues to give 2fpt/game. Goli is a warm bodied depth piece who's paid for this year which is nice, but who won't be re-signed. A lot to give for just Brent Seabrook come next season, but oh well. 103

Dynasty NHL: Archive / Re: Keeper draft changes« on: December 12, 2016, 06:32:33 PM »Not sure if this is different on Shooter's/Callys idea but protected picks. If a team's player is picked by a team that isn't them they get another pick in that round. The idea regarding this was that all NHL 1st Round Draft picks go into the Supp Draft pool. For example, last year, Matthews, Laine, Dubois, Pulji, Juolevi, Tkachuck, etc. would all have been available to be drafted in our Supp Draft, along with any other players under 40 NHL games played. Our teams in DNHL - Your now NYR and my now VAN teams would still be able to choose 2-3 players from that year's draft for free still, just not 1st rounders. So any 2nd-7th round NHL draftees from that year we can still choose to keep 'for free' So using your real-life Oilers, since you probably know them better, you would have been able to still keep some of: Tyler Benson (2nd rd), Markus Niemelainen (3rd rd), Matthew Cairns (3rd rd), Filip Berglund (3rd rd), Dylan Wells (5th rd) 'for free' 106

Dynasty NHL: Completed Transactions / Trade: Florida & Tampa Bay« on: December 09, 2016, 12:07:20 AM »
Florida Gets:
C Jonathan Drouin, $0.2m (P-16/17) Tampa Bay Gets: C Mathew Barzal, $m (P-n/a) LW Lawson Crouse, $m (P-n/a) D Derrick Pouliot, $m (P-17/18) Took a while (week and a half) to get this one hammered out. Mostly because I'm stubborn and didn't want to lose all of my top prospects. However, I am a huge Jonathan Drouin fan. I just hope to heck he finds some resemblance of consistent scoring in the NHL sooner than later. Losing these 3 prospects kills my farm team, but I'm okay with that since I'm not in re-build mode. Have to give to get, and this was the price for my guy. I don't mind overpaying for players I like in a free league though, so it's all good. Thanks for the (extensive) trade talks, Tubbs! |
