Angels approve. I didn’t want the Astros to have any excuses this year so I decided to trade away a SP as well.

Trading away the cheap and controllable Blackburn does make me a bit weary as despite his lackluster peripherals he has followed up his career 3.22 MiLB ERA with a 3.21 ERA in his first 10 MLB starts. He might just be one of those guys who finds a way to outperform his underlying stats.

It’s worth the risk for me though to get a few decent prospects who I think might be poised to break out. Also needed a warm body to fill a vacant RP slot which Loup does.

Thanks to Vik for the lengthy but enjoyable negotiation on this one  :toast:
