Well Crosby gone and Fleury is on his way out too.I acquired a couple of Goalies in the trade for Crosby and I have Nabokov and a couple of possible starting Goalies which made the very good Fleury expendable.Flyers had some great pieces that I liked so made a decision to ship Fleury to Philly as they were in search of a goalie,I like Fleury but he will share with Vokoun which I don't agree with but that is the way it is and I probably would not trade him either.As I got depth for Crosby I also get here for Fleury.These are players I like in Van Riemsdyk who I consider a very good player and young.Simmons is also young and talented being 24.McGinn who is a fairly good player with Colorado and he is young also.Laughton seems to be a talented player also and a nice addition to the club's overall depth.

Hope we can meet in the playoffs Philly LOL

I have some very good Centers on my team and losing Syd is hard but with what I have  (Stepan,Plek,Thornton and Elias at dual positions).I know the value of Crosby but what I get here is a lot of depth Henrik Sedin is getting older but he is a top Center in the league Kyle Turris is a front line Center and very good IMO,Jannik Hansen is a young and a very good scorer.Kindl  is a decent scoring option on Def which I am weak at.The defenseman I give up are high priced low scorers in the format so I dump those contracts.Harding and Emery are #2's as listed but will get playing time for there respective teams,Emery in Philly and Harding for the Wild as Harding has a chance to be a #1.I know there is one Marquee name here but really like the depth I gain for Syd.Key here is getting Sedin and Turris to add to the depth.

The club also placed right-hander Michael Grove on the 15-day injured list due to lat tightness. In corresponding moves, the club has recalled right-hander J.P. Feyereisen and selected the contract of right-hander Michael Petersen. To make room for Petersen on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred right-hander Joe Kelly to the 60-day injured list.

  • indiansnation: Mookie Betts was hit on the left hand by a Dan Altavilla fastball today, causing Betts to drop to the ground in immediate pain and then leave the game.  Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters (including Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times) after the game that Betts has a fractured bone in the hand and will be out of action “for some time,” though the former AL MVP won’t require surgery.
