Since I started this league, I haven't been able to figure out a fair way of doing contract extensions. Somebody pointed out the method Franchise GM has been using for this:

Any interest in implementing something similar to this? It would be for the 2012 offseason if we have this figured out before the 2012 season begins. Just floating some ideas out there in the hopes of generating some discussion.

As mentioned previously, any player that is on your roster that is not under a guaranteed contract can be released without penalty. I will be putting together the free agency list this weekend, so any releases must be done now.

There are periods when people just need a vacation from life. This is one of those times for me; I need some time for myself to figure some things out. I'll be available via email for any pressing concerns.

Robin (SpiritWind) and Cliff (snbts) will be in charge of the draft. If they both don't agree on an issue, then I will step in (email me). Eric (Shelby) is in charge of trades and will send them to the TC as they come in.

Free agency has been pushed back to 12/5. If anybody does not wish to keep their arbitration eligible players or players under their rookie contracts, they must be released by 11/29 11:59PM eastern time. If any of those players are released after that, you will have to pay the entirety of their 2012 salaries.

leppardkev is the new Oakland A's GM.

Hope this doesn't inconvenience people too much, and I hope you guys understand. I'll be available via email if necessary. I'll be back.
