I value your opinion and was just trying to get a better understanding of your view. 

The reason we see it differently is because I think Skinner and Sedin are close as far as value goes. Almost equal IMO

Anyways... I do agree that this is a as well because the first pick tilts the deal to much in favor of the Oilers.

Nah perfectly fine to have it here. The league gets to see the reasoning behind and dive deeper into the integrity of this league.

Good discussion guys, obviously I disagree due to age and cap being the major difference and the previous season performances by Skinner.

To be honest I am consistently amazed at the deals Drew is able to coax out of people. It makes my own offers seem poor in comparison and it is with that in mind that I approved a deal I don't 100% care for. I am not changing my position but I too am glad to see the exchange between Walt and Tony. It's called integrity boys....this league has it!

For a lot of the same reasons as Walt stated.  Skinner for Sedin would be fair to me.  One side takes the risk, but gets a cheaper and young player. 

If Drew threw in a 2nd, it would make it passable in my mind, but the 1st is just too much with Sedin.

I will say Veto on this one right now. Sedin is playing like Sedin of a few years ago with a new coach and offensive scheme, he and Skinner are quite comparable, with he 1st rounder I just see a bit too much heading to EDM.
