I see our projected cap for next season is $73m. Does anyone know when the number is finalized? (Are we following the NHL exactly on this?)

Also:

I don't understand where we are at with the FA's right now, regardless of the vote (the results of which won't be in effect for another year). So....will all current FA's that go unsigned through Extension #2 just be released to free-agency or was there a window last year to deal them? I can't remember.

The window was last years trade deadline. Trading will not open again until after extension #2, thus all unsigned players will be released to free agency.

That is our cap for next season now. It becomes fixed at the first extension period.

so I got a q and cant remember if I got a answer but a two way player that 2014-15 was his last year what resigning contract do I go by his extention value or his draft value? ie Zach dalpe and Stephan da costa?

Purely just their extension values. Draft value is only for drafted players with no contract (N/C).
