This might seem an interesting move to take cap on for the Braves, but if helps the team. Clevinger, despite the price tag is a pitcher the team could use and Gio Urshela, the team will see how to handle. Without losing any of their elite prospects, with the prices of the assets acquired the Braves believe the price is right and still are firm believers in the ability of Touki to be effective. There is some financial help with Clevinger which helps. The Braves look to use this deal to possibly flip assets and grow.

Cleveland agree this wasnt what i was hopeing to do but needed to be done this trade allows me to go into fa and add more players down the road. Im clearing alot of cap space of over 21m. I was able to add a good player is piscotty in my of and was able to add 2 young pitchers in olivares and garrett and add a future starting c in hunt.
