I believe?? That is a bunch of crap. Do not be a hardass...this league needs active team owners and because of all the troubles of this world we need to slack off on some deadline extensions (half a day? ).

I am not the commissioner.  I can't just unilaterally apply different rules to teams.  I am just going by the schedule everyone had.  If the league wants to let teams extend past the date I am fine with that, but then that is up to the commissioner and the league not just me.

I'd appreciate it if folks didn't get personal over things that can easily be changed and are not up to me.  Ask the commish/league if it is okay.

I agree with this decision. I'd hate to see a couple of franchises get gutted and new GMs screwed over on an arbitrary deadline. This year has been such a mess for everything and the unusual schedule isn't helping. The NHL playoffs just ended recently so normally this would be our break and we would see activity decrease for a while before picking up again later in the offseason. The league is targeting a January 1 start up again so its not like we don't have time to slow things down a little bit.
