How did our league International signing money get to be so far out of whack with MLB?
Here's the actual MLB money per team this year. I realize trades have been made, but the totals aren't even close. Since International money is only good for one year, how can we have such huge discrepancies in the totals for each team compared to MLB teams?
I haven't seen any "formula" posted within the league rules that explain any difference in coming up with the amount of funds available to spend on international prospects from what MLB uses.
How did we end up with so much more money than what's available for MLB teams?
