makes this trade to clear out some cap from the excess I have built over the past week of trading. All the wheeling and dealing has given me a few extra parts and a little less cap space than I’d like, so I deal a few veterans for younger players. I love the upside on Cordero and Candelario seems to have woken up since coming back to the majors. I take Prado back to keep under the cap. Thanks and good luck to

Cubs are adding some strong talent for this season.  We are trying to make a playoff push. I'm also able to clear out Prado and gain a good prospect in Swaggerty.  Doolittle sures up my bullpen and Myers and Dozier build on my hitting depth for this season and next.
