would like to sign him to a 2 year extension at 70% of his current contract.

New deal is (0.7*11)= 7.7M rounded up to 8M. Thus it's 11M (2016), than it becomes 8M (2018).

This player is in the last year of his contract. Let me know if I did something wrong.
