The Jays hate to see Hill go, but if that's the price to pay for getting rid of Wells contract, we are more than willing to do so. The cheap prospects plus the draft picks weill help the Jays restock in prospects who will help rebuild this franchise in the future and the cap room will allow us to pursue some valuable FA's this winter.

The deal would be:

Alex Rios  $10.5 mil (2014) (The Jays will pay 5mil on 2010 and 2011 and 3mil on 2012)
