This is another June 1st trade.

Twins get:
CI Jorge Cantu $9.0m (2013)
SP Adam Wainwright $4.0m (2011)

Cardinals get:
CI Justin Morneau $13.5m (2013)

We give up a top starting pitcher but believe the improvement at CI balances out the trade. Our young pitchers are under-rated and hopefully De La Rosa and Medlen will pick up some of the slack if we are unable to trade for another SP.
