C Colton Sissons, $1.4m (2019-2020)
C Sean Couturier, $8.3m (2022-2023) + 4m over the course of his contract
D Kris Letang, $5m (2020-2021)

:COL-NHL: confirms this deal. I really like getting Couturier for 4.3m over this contract. Letang really helps my d core that was pretty thin. Sissons helps the loss of two LW's.

Yeah, Chicago jumping that far is really odd.  I always thought that the odds weren't high enough for the teams at the top.  Should be a bit more predictable, but I guess the worst you can fall is to #4 like Colorado did.

I like JVR a lot for free next year, and then I'll have to see what his re-sign value is after that. Anton gives me some cheap depth at goalie with the possibility of 20-30 starts.
