Hoping that this is the difference to fuel to win it all this year. I?ve been able to get good fairly solid pitching and have managed to survive so many injuries thus far, but adding an ace and a very solid MI as we approach the stretch should be huge.

I?m not sure that I?ll be able to resign either of them, so they may purely be rentals for 2 top 50 prospects and 2 young cheap controllable pieces, but if I win it all, it?ll be worth it. Thanks and good luck @soonerorlitigator

Brewers approve. Scherzer is having a great season but this is the last year of the deal. Even with improvement I am not going to get to the playoffs so we make this move to start retooling. Add Didi to the package to get an increase in the talent coming back. 2 Top 50 prospects and two young guys who are prospect/former prospect guys who hopefully will figure it out.
