Clearly we will not be starting this league this season with still needing double the owners that we have. I think a better plan would be to look to start this league for the 2022 NFL Season and give us a lot longer to get owners and finalize rules.
How many currently signed up would stay on if we push the league start to 2022?
I would like to play around with some different style rules possibly. A few that I have been thinking about:
1. eliminate extensions to create more strategy, a more robust off-season FA, etc. Or at the very least, create a single franchise tag that you can use on a player which would be the average of the top 5 salaries at that player's position.
2. Instead of taking a team's roster, we have a 30-ish round draft and whoever you draft, you take the player's current contract.
If anyone has any thoughts, let me know.
