Giants trade
SP Lamet, Dinelson, $0.5m (P-n/a),
SP Lockett, Andrew, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Phillies trade:
MI-CI Reyes, Jose, $10.5m (2017)
X-Reyes, Jose, $9.0m in 2017, Cash Exchange

Phillies do this deal to bring in a couple arms. Reyes served his purpose when I had injuries but I wasn't going to resign him.

The Giants need some CI depth, and although Reyes has underperformed this season, the hope is he will give something down the stretch.  It's probably a shot in the dark, but with my team slipping in the standings, it's a risk worth taking.  Hopefully the other young arms on the Giants MiLB roster will progress and fulfill the void left by Lamet.
