Raiders accept. Hard to pass up on a talent like Gibbs. We came out swinging for the fence and didn?t want to miss out on landing a starting RB. They don?t come along often. Also not gonna lie, we figured other top teams were gunning for Gibbs and Etienne. While we couldn?t land both, I?m happy to get one. Eovaldi (groin) was reinstated from the 15-day injured list and will start Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, but Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said the right-hander will be on an unspecified pitch count, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Lions confirm. This is a proud moment for me, my first transaction as a GM of these Detroit Lions. I look forward to the future as we set our sights for great things moving forward. Moving Etienne was never going to be easy, but I am very pleased with the return as we look towards the upcoming draft.
