That is a great question. I think the higher seed should get the win. IMO

I don't like that... It gives an unfair advantage to the teams that finished higher in the standings.

I think we should do it with stats. For example, Team A has 6 goals this week while his opponent, Team B, has 13 goals this week. Thus, Team B wins that stat. The team that wins the most stats wins the round.

If you count shut outs, we have 15 total stats that could help determine the winner.

Higher seeded teams should have the advantage.

Also you could still have teams that tie in the stats department as well.

Just my opinion.

Maybe we can pick 5 to 7 stats to determine the tie instead. Either way, I feel as though giving the higher seeded teams that advantage is unfair, and this is coming from a team that is currently sitting 2nd. With the exception of seeding, I feel that basing anything else in the playoffs based on how you did in the regular season is an unfair advantage. Match ups should be about that week.

Hoping that there is no ties in playoffs. Haha.
But I'll have to see what is in rules but I think regular season is an important factor.

:iatp: I don't think we should give a win based on the person had a better season many factors injuries ect it's unfair in my opion it should be based on the week why not do wht the invatastional tournament did use stats like g/ga/a/sv/hits/blk/ and a point for each and the winner in most categories should get the win I think this would be more fair for every team and not on bc they higher seed team. It's weekly match ups should be based on the week

IMO regular season should count as a factor because it shows the best true reflection of a team and a GM and what that GM can do with the team regardless of injuries etc. 1 lucky week in the playoffs can happen, but no one gets lucky for an entire season.

Goals are the heaviest weighted stat worth 2 points and should be used in determining the winner.  Use the most goals and if is still a tie then go to Assists and if its still a tie then take the higher seed.

Standings Tie Breakers
1. Most fantasy points for entire season
2. Head-to-head record
3. Least fantasy points against for entire season

So I will go with this:
1. Head-to-head record
2. Higher Seed

I hope everyone is fine with this, regular season does matter or else we wouldn't play the games, it is very important where you place and how well you perform during the season. Head to head is the only transferable tie breaker so it gets the first spot. Again hopefully there is no ties and maybe this is something we can look into in the off-season.

  • Daddy: My comment on the real Wolves are if they win a chip then there is no such things as bad contracts. The point of all contracts are to win Championships.
