We have some $$$ to spend on the wily vet net minder Schneider. He's on his last leg but we like that he is still a valuable asset that Minny can use down the line if things don't work out the way we plan. Dekeyser is injuried and in his 30s so he's a roll of the dice in this deal and we're likely eating cap. I have no problem moving prospects and a depth player to make this happen. That's why I re-upped with FNHL. Love the competition. Love the level of organization. Since I've been here, the judgement shown by the commish's shows me they want a successful league for the long haul.

I hate surprises is all. The expansion draft will throw a wrench into each team's plans. So will the next cap figure from the NHL in 2021.

I'd rather take the proactive approach like we did here in FNHL to set our own cap #. As fate would have it, the NHL fell in line with Franchise NHL with a $81.5M cap ceiling.

Amazing if you take moment to think about it. Great work by PPG & PR to stay ahead of the curve.
