Dropping RP Estevez, Carlos, $0.5m (2019) does not create the $0.5m cap needed to sign Andrew Kittredge to a $0.5m (2020) contract.  You will still be responsible for RP Estevez, Carlos, $0.5m (2019) because he was signed to a regular contract, and even at 75%, his cap obligation remains at $0.5m which means your available cap is still $0m.

Unfortunately, you already offered him a contract, so it can’t be canceled.  You can’t suddenly change your mind after offering him a contract.

If you had simply said so from the outset, it could be canceled—or if you simply let 48 hours pass without offering him a contract, then you would be off the hook.  However, as I said, you offered him a contract, so you have figure out some way to cover his $0.5m (2020) contract. 

I warned you before about overspending, but you disregarded that information and now you must come up with a solution.
