I am down a good producing center to be real competitive, so to get that I give up a young d-man and a 1st round pick.  I pay on the salary to keep the Oilers cap hit the same.

Drouin has had some injurry problems this season and I have the depth at C/LW that losing  him won't hurt too bad. I'm making this move to get some more depth at D and the draft pick doesn't hurt.
