Details of the trade:

Reds trade 3B Trey Michalchewski (P-n/a) and $2.25m International funds (2014).

Rangers trade SP Jesse Chavez $2.0m (2015).

My mistake on the money. This was mistakenly posted with $2.0m Int funds and was supposed to be $2.25m Int funds.

My apologies.

Armchair Fantasy Baseball: Archives / Internatonal Signing money
« on: June 11, 2014, 12:32:09 AM »
How did our league International signing money get to be so far out of whack with MLB?

Here's the actual MLB money per team this year. I realize trades have been made, but the totals aren't even close. Since International money is only good for one year, how can we have such huge discrepancies in the totals for each team compared to MLB teams?

I haven't seen any "formula" posted within the league rules that explain any difference in coming up with the amount of funds available to spend on international prospects from what MLB uses.

How did we end up with so much more money than what's available for MLB teams?

MLB Totals for International Money.

Armchair Fantasy Baseball: Archives / Schedule errors.
« on: May 23, 2014, 02:06:40 PM »
The Astros and the Pirates are the only two teams in the league who have played zero division games this year. I'm sure it is because they swapped names at some point.

Unfortunately their schedules weren't swapped as well. The Pirates are still playing games against their previous division's opponants and so are the Astros.

Seems like an unfair advantage considering that the National League Central Division is the toughest, at this point.

The Reds would like to promote 1B Neftali Soto to AAA, and both he & Travis Ishikawa on the active 40-man roster, please.

I'd also like to add C Tucker Barnhart to the 40 man active roster.  :toth:

Armchair Fantasy Baseball: Archives / Vidal Nuno bid

I had a bid on this player and now I don't see him anywhere. What happened? Don't see it in completed transactions or invalid transactions.

  • Daddy: My comment on the real Wolves are if they win a chip then there is no such things as bad contracts. The point of all contracts are to win Championships.

  • Daddy: Can you imagine a league(s).  Where EVERY player that becomes a professional has value.. and 30-32 teams have 30-32 different people are actively determining that value?
  • Daddy: Where you dont wait for trades to happen on scoring sites or SS updates and the only thing asked of you is to run your own franchise and see how good you are. On an EVEN playing field.
  • Daddy: Its already near impossible to get into NFL LIVE. We had to start up a 64 team league just to accommodate the waiting list. True Story.
  • Daddy: Once full. NBA, NHL, & NCAAs will be very difficult to get into. People dont just walk away from LIVE often and when they do... They usually want back in. Legit dont miss your team in your sports. Get them while you can.
