Good choice Reid. I encourage everybody to go through the League Constitution so they know what to expect. Actually, I recommend everyone review the constitution as it stands now so if you see something unfair or have an idea for an improvement, we can implement it now.

I see the following options:
A) Same order as MLB (based on last season's record) B) Random C) Reverse order of organization selection Personally, I'm leaning towards option C. That would somewhat offset the advantage the people who joined this league early have, even though this would be a minimal difference. Anybody else have any thoughts? 2016

Matt, I completely agree with you. If we go this route, it would just be a nice perk, or extra or whatever you want to call it. Winning minor league games here would be as important as the Durham Bulls winning. In the end, the greatest benefit you can derive from your farm system is the development of future major league players. Scouts don't rate organizations by won-loss record, so there's no reason we would here.
Perhaps down the road, we could give a small financial reward to the best minor league teams. This is just a thought experiment for now. 2017

Good point. I can lock in the rosters either this coming weekend (5/21) or the weekend afterwards (5/28) so it's before the MLB draft. Anybody that does get drafted this year does not automatically get inherited in this league. We would begin our draft on 8/20, after the signing deadline for this years draft picks by MLB teams. In future years, we would wait until the off-season, but since we don't have much else going on this year, we'll begin it on 8/20.

To clarify, any minor league scoring that takes place, if this happens, will be completely independent of the regular major league scoring that we do. Think of the minors as a separate team, just like an MLB team and a AAA team. In no way will minor league stats impact the regular major league scoring.

We're full as of today. Any other people that ask will be placed on the waiting list. I'll update the organization selection order when I get the rest of the people's information.
