Arb clock start clarification.

Shouldn't guys who were called up and sent back down who have not met the 130 ABs/50 IPs thresholds have their contracts cleared out?

Any player that has less than 130 at-bat's or 50 innings pitched, can be signed to a minor league contract. Once they meet those limits and are called up to an Effectively Wild major league roster, they will become arb eligible.

I got two prospects that were Fantraxed onto my MLB roster because my minors were full but I had already placed a minor league promotion request to make room for the PC players. They have since been sent down but their Arb contracts are messing with my salary cap and they have never played a game in the majors. I would like some clarification as well.

Will edit once clarified if needed but have it set as I have been directed as they were on the 40 man their contracts stick with them. I am indifferent to either side.

If the players were added to your MLB team by error on behalf of the league office you won't be penalized for that. Can you make a post on the transaction page with the specifics of what needs to be fixed?

@Brent so it's similar to a p-na contract in other leagues, those players can be sent back and forth to the minors until those prospect thresholds are reached.

Yes, I understand the ability to go back and forth until they reach the prospect thresholds.  My question is about the contract that is assigned to them as soon as they are on the MLB roster. When they went back down, it followed them whereas other prospects on the MiLB roster have no contract.
