Reds continue to flip pieces for higher level prospects, Verdugo was on a great contract, but we've got some minor leaguers that could come up to the big leagues soon, so I'm getting ahead of a logjam. I could've held onto Duran, but we have a developing closer prospect we think will be ready soon. Povich was a top 10 prospect for us, but again for the prospects we're getting its worth the price. Been wanting to add a few more functional pieces to my lineup, given my improving record over the past 3-4 weeks. None of these guys breaks the bank, and I have some control over them beyond this season. Happy to move the prospects in this case, even if I have been more stingy in the past.
