Well thats a doosy of pitcher package going out the door. I've been looking for a SP to pair with Wheeler atop the rotation but I didn't expect to be able to pick up an ace like Verlander. He needs an extension which is forth coming, but given how Verlander is projected to pitch its worth while to give him premium dollars. The picthing package is serious, despite some evaluations, Nelson may well break out this year and that will make two MLB 3/4 types in Civale and Nelson going over, plus a minimum 3 good RP or a 3rd starter depending on how the Yankees treat King this year.
C Garcia is a nice piece to have for depth, I don't have very much C depth in the high minors after trading away Nola earlier this week, so Garcia is good insurance in case either of my guys get hurt this season.
It will be very interesting to revisit this one in a couple years to see how the pitchers turned out.

Payroll restrictions made it necessary to consider moving the Cy Young winner because he has more value than Zach Grienke. The trades for Madison Bumgarner and Patrick Corbin made this a little easier as well. Gventura nailed it on the head with his evaluations and these are the reasons why I traded the Cy Young winner, thanks and good luck :toast:
