Alright, I think we have a plan to move forward. We're going to restart the draft next week. We'll start the clock Tuesday at noon. Teams that are open will be on autodraft throughout the draft. Brian and I are going to work hard over the next month recruiting and getting the spreadsheets and Fantrax updated for 2019. We hope to be at a minimum number of teams without a GM by the start of free agency.
When I ran Bush, I found the most effective way to recruit was through people who were already in the league. If you guys know anyone that would be interested, please encourage them to sign up or PM Brian or I.
At this point, we're holding the 1/14 date as a stretch goal for starting free agency. We may delay it a bit depending on how well we do.
As I work on updating the spreadsheets, I will be looking at the state of the teams that are unowned. I am thinking that some of them are going to need some help in the form of a draft or extra free agents in the pool or something. I know this is not something that is going to be popular, but I think it is something we may need to discuss. I will start with these rosters, so we can have a quick idea.
One last thing... We have three GMs that are interested in switching teams. If anyone else is interested in doing so because their favorite team is open or they want a rebuilding challenge, please let me know. If no one has objections, I am going to move the :WAS: roster to :TEX:.
