Angels confirm. Angels are not confident about making playoffs despite having a winning record at the time and decide to get what they can for Dunn and Bedard who are unlikely to be resigned. Angels would have liked to get an impact player closer to the majors to help next year but have coveted Mella for a while. Gindl hopefully helps fill depth at the Angels weakest position over the next few years, OF. Adding some international funds helps the Angels goal of competing starting next year while building a good foundation in low minors.

Brewers confirm. 

My last attempt stab at this season.  I need to run the table to have a shot, so I need to maximize points.  Mella could end up being a stud, but what the hell.  Also, don't mind getting away from the bonus I'd have to pay him in a few yrs since, I'm already tiptoeing along the salary cap limit.

Corresponding move:  Roach and Burgos placed on outright waivers, reporting to A Brevard County and AAA Nashville respectively.
