                        6th Round pick in MLB 1st Year Player Draft
                        The remainder of Saltalamachia's $9.16 salary for 2014
                        $4.583M (half of Salty's contract) in 2015
                        $4.583M (half of Salty's contract) in 2016

Brewers Trade:  Victor Roache and 1st round pick in MLB 1st Year Player Draft

Brewers do this deal for the obvious reason.  I need another C in a two C league (which is a rule I love by the way, so I am certainly not complaining about needing another C).  They are scarce and while I know Salty's #'s will regress back to his norms as the season goes on, he is a starter at a good $$$ (now anyway) at a spot of "position scarcity."  Tough to give up a good young power hitting prospect, not to mention my 1st round pick, but I do get a pick in return. Sacrifice quality to keep quantity there.  With so many teams seeming to be in various rebuild modes, I figure I'm not as far from a wild card as I thought I'd be going into the season, so might as well go for it.   sorry so long. lol
