A player claimed off another team's 40man roster must be placed on the claiming team's 40man roster.  Clearing waivers wether it be an outright or unconditional release is how a player gets removed from a 40man.  We don't have DFAs in this league as it is basically a 10 day waiting period to place a player on outright waivers.
