to the Chicago White Sox for
Gordon Beckham 2014:$2,975,000

The ChiSox trade a 27 year old 2B with potential to rebound, and in return get a mid-lower level prospect, 2 decent draft choices and Mr Dead-weight, Ian Stewart to even out the salaries.
ChiSox are happy to add to their upcoming draft and the possibility Sterling finds better control and fulfills his potential.
