:NYM: makes this trade to bolster an extreme lack of pitching. 
We like that we get Hector Santiago as an innings-eating SP until 2018 and Rzepczynski at a cheap price.  With a 15th round pick, the trade was made easily as there is plenty of talent still available.  We don't believe in Duda's ability to consistently produce or Matz' ability to stay healthy; both of  which are high priorities for our rebuilding team.

The Blue Jays confirm.  We had a gaping hole in LF, which Duda will plug.  We like Matz's abilities and believe his injuries are behind him.  Hopefully Stinson can nail down a bullpen job and replace Rzep at a fraction of the price.
