Official 2013 Supplemental Draft Thread

[Capn Cally]

Bah, I was hoping Hertl would fly under the radar

Nice pick

Doin some homework.... HAVE to with this roster. But I think I have enough goalies now, haha, so probably won't be drafting any goalies... Maybe later

I am disbelief that Hertl was even available especially with him being a 1st pick last year I would have thought for sure either his team would keep him or he would have went in our draft.

This was a much harder pick than I thought it was going to be .  I flip flopped several times on who I was going to take.  I just cant pass up a goalie with that type of averages and talent.

 Pick 9 -G    Raanta, Antti

I knew 100% you were going to pick Raanta.  I tried to trade for the 6, 7, or 8 picks to get in front of you.  No such dice.

ha ha.  Yeah there weren't many options there since Florida and Calgary already had most of them.  I thought Cally might pick him up since he had an affinity for Goalies lately.

Haha. Like I said, I think I have enough goalies for the future... Raanta was tempting but I need to fill my roster with some kids that will hopefully be filling the back of the net soon, rather than guarding it! Like I said, maybe in the later picks if any decent tenders fall that far. Most likely not though...
