I was going to release Olynyk because I couldn't find a trade partner. I like him but I have bigger needs than C/PF and I was not going to resign him.

In this trade at least I get a young guy with pedigree and I free up a roster spot on the main roster and strengthen my minors.

Thanks @cloud91 Olynyk is better than to just be cut on his expiring deal.
