Considering that rule about rising salaries increases total contract value (and not backload the current contracts) and that this league forces teams to respect cap in any future years, it is clearly more difficult for best teams to stay below cap, not easier. So what is your main point of criticism? The move to Fantrax for FA bidding?

Hockey is faster than baseball/basketball but slower than football. Draft picks can hit right away like football or take years to develop like baseball.
