Tigers make this deal to free up a little salary space (mostly in the future) and add some future pieces that I like.

Wasn't planning to move the pieces on end, especially high on Weimer/Nelson, but decided to take a shot at quantity over quality in specs. Tigers had several guys here I am familiar with owning in another league so hopeful at least a couple will pan out eventually. Rizzo/Blackmon swap also made sense for me with money included.

This traded is invalid.

Even with paying part of Rizzo's contract next year blows past the salary cap.

Next year's cap is  $ 168,824,736 after this trade would be at  $ 179,960,000 in guaranteed money.

The trade will be disallowed if it puts any of the teams above the salary cap, or over the roster limit, unless there is an accompanying transaction that will correct this.

My guess is that didn't account for this extension for Gallo. But because of the order of transactions the extension went through before the trade.

Due to honest oversight here, would like to change extension on Gallo to 1 year to comply.

Current trade will either stand and I will get different move posted, or we will update trade here. Technically still puts me slightly over cap next year so working on fix.

Now that the future year salary thing is taken care of via trade, do we need to do anything else with this for it to go through?
