Although the Giants feel a little queasy about adding a player in Dodgers Blue, Justin Turner will help solidify their everyday lineup.  His $14.0m contract is certainly not very team friendly, but the Cash Exchanges already on the books help offset the monetary impact.  As always, there’s a risk/reward factor, but the Giants hope he can continue to be healthy and productive as he finishes out his contract.  Odubel Herrera is a bit of an enigma, and who knows what the Phillies do with him, but his expiring contract allows the Giants the opportunity to shed Jason Kipnis’ 2022 monies.
