The Ducks agree to this trade. As with the other 2 trades Gionta wasn't in our plans so we were looking for anything for him as well. The Ducks get much younger with this trade as well as the other 2 trades.

The 2nd round pick as with the Sbisa trade only adds to our list of numerous 2nd round picks to upgrade our depleted minor league system.

Philly confirms. We're in buying mode. Flyers can crack the Wildcard top 2 if we put a little effort and a touch of brains into cutting through the WC pack. This helps us now. We'll continue to rebuild our MiLR a little later on. Thanks again Gr8O!

Good trade here. It will all come down to what happens to Gionta end of this yr. A 2nd RD pick is always good. Gionta needs to keep posting pts but he's older.
