AntMan and I talked about moving Filip but I put this on the back burner while I let the other deal soak in. So why the hell am I tearing down the Philly that Papps built? It's not really a tear down but more of a renovation. I had a price and I got it. Plain and simple. Thanks AntMan.

At first glance this appears to be a Win for Philadelphia but upon closer inspection you realize Filip Forsberg has a steep upward trend in point production at a very young age (Top 4) while the primary player headed to the Flyers, Nick Bjugstad though equally young already has a history of serious injury. Overall a much more balanced trade than one would expect with the casual glance.

Forsberg is a terrific player who will pay back now and into the future. The trio of players that Philadelphia receives will do likewise however none of them compare to Filip Forsberg.
