LA Angels & Scott Kazmir

Since I believe I heard the Rosters were being set sometime in May ( 2011 ),
I wish to RELEASE  Scott Kazmir with 14.5 M remaining on his contract as
the LA Angels did on June 15, 2011 . The salary info is from Wikipedia .

That would mean having to pay the remainder of his salary (just like the angels). Please let me know you understand this.

On a side note, I'll try to have the remainder of the salaries entered into the spreadsheet before next Monday. I know I haven't gotten to the AL West and some of AL Central.

I assume the 14.5 M will be paid by the Angels during 2011 !?
Even reading through this league's "constitution", I am unsure
as to the full ramifications, such as does this increase the amount
under the cap for the 2012 season !? At a minimum this increases
the amount under the salary cap for the 2013 season !?

I just checked Kazmir's contract. It was 12M for 2011 and 2.5M buyout for the 2012 option (this information is available in the Commissioner's Office section of this forum). We are starting with 2012 so the 12M does not factor into this league. It was also noted that we would not be taking into consideration any option years so the 2.5M would not have been paid in this league because Kazmir would already be a free agent for 2012.

Once I get the rest of the salaries entered into the spreadsheet, any possible confusion should be eliminated.

If anything in the league constitution is unclear, please do ask. I've been trying to get comments from everyone since the league started.
