Me and my Smoking Gun "Man Crushes"..You know boys somewhere in the middle of my rebuild I looked at JVR, Landeskog, Nichushkin, Forsberg, Hedman, Campbell, etc. etc. etc. & thought to myself hmm..maybe I can make just a little noise sooner than later.

I love Pascale & his tremendous upside however I really like the more immediate prospect impact Leon Draisaitl can make to this team. Already owning Niemi/Stalock & backing them with Jack Campbell, i just felt Draisaitl is a better fit. Did I mention that I love this kid? ALOT!

Good trade for both teams. Avs continue to shed cap or avoid adding it on with big entry level contracts. Tampa got a prospect skater and pick (which as it turns out they don't value highly. No matter).
