Draft Rights to Players

Some teams have players who were drafted in recent drafts who have remained overseas. These teams still hold their rights for when they eventually come over to the NBA. If you would like to add any of these players to your G-League, please post here.

This is only to claim draft rights on players overseas. G-League players on your team's G-League affiliate are not eligible to be claim and will instead be in FA.

For example, my Hornets have S Arnoldas Kulboka drafted in the 2018 draft still playing in Lithuania. I do not opt to keep his rights.

Is the option to retain just for overseas players or also for any player showing as part of today's roster as currently posted on ESPN.com?

The option to retain the players is only for overseas players.

However looking at your list below, GRIII is an expiring contract so he's not eligible to retain.

2 way contract players, I'm going to make a post about those also being eligible to claim prior to the start of FA. Korkmaz, I don't know why I have him listed as a FA when he's on their spotrac roster so I will get him added to your roster.
