Rockies and Orioles agree to the following deal:

Orioles get:
RP Gallegos, Geovany, $0.3m (P-2022)         
RP Leclerc, Jose $2.2m (2021)
RP Genesis Cabrera $0.3m (P-NA)

Rockies get:
Justin Dunn $0.3m (P-NA)
Kyle Freeland $0.3m (P-2020)
Willians Astudillo $0.3m (P-NA)
Jason Groome $0.3m (P-2020)

Orioles make this deal to stop solidify the bullpen. I’m giving up some promising starting arms and a solid catching bat to do so but it’s one of the few areas I wanted to upgrade and this was an easier route than waiting on free agency

Rockies approve:

Relievers are volatile from year to year and I need starting pitching. Freeland is two years removed from being a top of the rotation arm and Dunn is a top prospect. Groome has been forgotten but he’s finally on track and Astudillo is a solid bat for my backup catcher position.
