and from another point...why are deadlines before baseball is even finished?  Shouldn't the deadlines have waited til at least the real baseball season was over? maybe im wrong but idk

All (2011) non-prospect contracts must be resigned by 1:00 PM EST on Oct. 1, 2011.  All prospect contracts (P-2011) must be resigned by 1:00 PM EST on Oct. 15, 2011. 

Any players with expiring contracts not signed by these dates will be placed in the Free Agent Pool.

This is where the deadline was changed on September 28 but has not yet been changed in the rules.  The 2012 season now begins as soon as the World Series ends rather than in April which meant the books had to be closed earlier.

we changed a rule with a months notice? there's no grandfather clause to it?  and worst of all the rules werent updated in the rules section...i mean i know i can't complain cause i havent had web but that seems messed up to me.

Everyone received a PM and we believe that every active member was fully aware.  We have had no other issues with this.
