I wasn't looked at that way, I was allowed to make trades even though I was new and I was trusted

So if he was around for 3 months he could trade Jay Bruce for 5 or 6 fringe prospects like Bridgestone did, or Lazydude did, or The Cutter did? I fail to see the rationale behind your statement. He has watched the scoring for two weeks and he needs pitching, he said so on his trade block. Plus we have guys who have been here since last season that don't understand the EDR and re-signing process.

So if I was to have taken an offer I was given in the off-season for Belt, say umm, oh who was it? Oh yeah Tommy Hunter. If I chose to except the offer, no one would have stopped it? Should I continue posting crap offers that have been sent to me that the people that sent to me thought were good, and were here long enough to know the value of what they were offering and what I would have been accepting?

My point being, is it is fine when someone walks away with John Smoltz for Doyle Alexander, or Josh Hamilton for Edinson Volquez, but when someone else attempts to do it the roof caves in. We can't put plastic wrap on everyone's players. We can't baby proof every GM office.

He said it in his own words why he was doing it.

i dont see how the TC cant see this point, guys all im asking for is for you to explain it to me since im not smart enough to realize the difference

The offers I have gotten for the MOST PART have been from I could try to counteroffer to absolutely absurd. I think 1 huge issue in here is people are sharks and attempt to get the most they can in a trade while giving up the least amount. This is only in my limited time in here and not meant to call out anyone in particular. I think some of the owners in here can attest to that. Not everyone in here is like that, but I have noticed some owners offer not much better than what they offered me 2 weeks ago and I say no thanks like Jake wants us to. I have zero issues with the TC as they just want the noob (me) to completely understand the rulebook and scoring. Once I demonstrate I understand these, everything from my end will be smooth. I think we're all just overreacting to a trade. It's fantasy gents, let's not turn on each other and make a HUGE DEAL about a trade. Whether it passes or gets vetoed, life goes on and so does FGM which I might add is an awesome league. Like I said in a previous post, I am going to refrain from trading for awhile. You may still send offers for on down the line, but consider the Rocks closed for business for awhile.

Guru you are new meat that happened to inherit a team with some very good players. There are some in this league that would love to take advantage but there are also some who believe in a deal that is mutually beneficial. You'll figure it out
