Ya I can wait on the ruling from Anthony as well but think of it this way, is during the usual first extension period, I could sign a 2-way player to an extension and still be able to move him up and down freely until the start of the next season when he has a new contract.
This extension period is still part of this season and the new season doesn't start until the draft technically.

Should be good to sign him, he was on a 2-way last year so shouldn't be an experienced minor leaguer. http://www.profsl.com/smf/index.php?topic=15505.0I know rosters aren't updated anymore but you can see Howden had a 2-way contract here until the end of 2020-21.

Trying to remember where players were but please complete the following moves, also let me know, I haven't removed my IR players or released their IR replacements am I still able to give them a contract based on their play. If so I would like to offer Zacha a contract for 2 years (this year and next), the others can be released (Chara, Olesiak).
Brett Howden to the minors but was on a 2-way (currently on expiring contract)
Ryan Graves to the minors but was on a 2-way (currently on expiring contract)
Alexander Nylander to the minors but was on a 2-way (currently on expiring contract)
